The community of Godini village outside Qumbu in the Eastern Cape is still reeling in shock following the fatal shooting of six Community Policing Forum members on Sunday. They were allegedly ambushed in the premises of a local school.

It’s during these patrol operations when they encounter stock thieves. Here at Godini village, a group of subsistence farmers were allegedly ambushed, six of them perished on the scene, four seriously injured while others had to jump over the fence escaping the barrel of the gun.
