BEIJING—China is studying technology companies’ reliance on American suppliers, according to people familiar with the matter, an apparent attempt to assess their ability to withstand further trade-war shocks, even as Beijing prepares to roll out a retaliatory blacklist of foreign businesses.
The interagency effort, which involves officials canvassing domestic companies, has taken place over the past few months as the trade war has intensified.
What a brainless pseudo fact. Companies are not triggered by news. Knowing exposure risks is good and common standard practice. They don't start... it's nothing new. Who is supposed to believe this and take it as 'news'? What a farce!

China already has all of American technology. Its required they share before they can do business there. They will just counterfeit it.
It was us and our corporate leaders who gave the chinese our technology for cheep labor and access to their markets. This was a mutual agreement between both countries. So when people say the Chinese steal our tech, they're ignorant about our dealings or lieing for corporations.
As part of its continuous govt. control over every single aspect of life within it's country wide jail system. They built a wall once to keep people out, now their 21st century invisible walls are keeping them in, surveillance to firewalls, secret policing to labour camps.
