Ethiopia crash victims’ families to receive R2.1m compensation from Boeing

JOHANNESBURG – The families of Boeing crash victims are to receive compensation from the company after 340 people lost their lives in crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia earlier in the year.

However, lawyers representing the families have dismissed the payout as a “publicity stunt” and said this approach does not satisfy the families who want answers. An Ethiopian Airlines 737 MAX 8 crashed shortly after take-off on March 10, killing all 157 people on board. The same Boeing model was involved in a Lion Air plane crash in Indonesia in October that killed 189 people.

South African banks prepared for biggest strike in 99 years | IOL Business ReportSouth African banks are urging clients to use digital channels as the industry prepares for what could be its biggest strike since 1920. A ploy by the ANC to distract while they push something else through that the dont want the South Africans to see. Really getting tired of these protests, considering that they never see the 'bigger' picture that has a ripple effect on the economy and eventually the loss of jobs. cryptocurrency Time to finally make this the global financial standard.. They can strike but in the near future the whole banking system going to be electronic and paper money will be in museum of history.
