Police spokesperson sergeant Timothy Sam says preliminary investigations indicate that a vehicle driving in the direction of Ulco, tried to overtake a truck but failed to do so due to oncoming traffic. This resulted in a case pile-up with two vehicles and the truck.
The Barkley West Emergency Services declared 3 persons deceased on the scene whilst 5 passengers were injured and were transported to Barkley West hospital.Police investigations are continuing.
