"This decision is the result of a careful and ongoing review of our store portfolio," Bennett said. JCP sales are down in part because most of the clothing brands and clothing styles/designs they carry are ugly. Thiey take up space and don't sell even with 40% discount. Levi's, Lee, Worthington, and two other brands have clothing one can actually wear.
