Fears that the new coronavirus might slow the global economy have sent already-depressed natural gas prices tumbling to their lowest level in years.

The virus marks the latest force of nature to slam U.S. gas producers, who were already contending with abnormally mild winter weather across the Northern Hemisphere. And it shows how tightly tied to overseas economic activity the U.S. gas market has become after functioning in isolation for decades.

Great news for consumers !

I for one, dare to differ. The main reason is warm winter, climate change if you will.

CH4 producers will have to resiliently stomach the challenges they are being confronted with. The spread of the novel Covid-19 remains a no-end-in-sight for now until probably when nations hit stop importing the virus. More crippling of economies are expected as time wears on.

People are scared to travel, that’s your basic cause and affect

Hopefully this recession will finally put an end to all these toxic dinosaurs and we can move to renewable energies like we should have 40 years ago!
