This year could set records for corporate losses on tax returns—and Congress is looking for ways to help companies turn those losses into cash

WASHINGTON—Companies would get a cash cushion—and opportunities for creative tax planning—under the Senate’s economic relief proposal.

The business tax elements of the bill are a small piece of the overall package that could get votes in Congress as soon as Tuesday if negotiators reach a deal. But companies and trade associations have been pushing for the changes, hoping to delay payments and accelerate refunds to help them through the economic disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Let's see, Corps will take the cash then take the tax losses for their fiscal year. Not pay the employees. Good plan.

And they immediately pay themselves huge bonuses...

So they'll pay zero fed taxes and get rebates like recently, gain doesn't work if you don't actual reuse it, like the old saying 'have to pay to play' so ehow doesn't fit into big earning corporations schematic in times of economic shutdowns, no allocation, no just in case,

Hooray for corporate welfare!

Snowball effect.
