On Saturday, Trump backtracked on his original disapproval of Oracle's deal with TikTok parent company ByteDance, and gave the deal his blessing

Here's a breakdown of the deal as it stands right now—and the problems it still has: on two key terms: Oracle would become TikTok's "trusted technology provider" and take over hosting and processing TikTok's US user data, as well as own a minority stake

in TikTok. Those details have remained unchanged. One, TikTok will spin off into a separate corporate entity known as TikTok Global, which will be headquartered in the US. Two, But despite those additions, some national security concerns remain unresolved.
