Grammy Award-winning songwriter Ed Sheeran won a closely followed copyright case over his 2017 hit “Shape of You,” with a judge in LondonMr.

Sheeran was accused of plagiarizing a short passage of the 2015 song “Oh Why” by Sami Chokri and Ross O’Donoghue. Justice Zacaroli told the High Court in London on Wednesday that while there were similarities between the tracks, there are also significant differences between them.
