Following the ongoing shakeups at Warner Bros. Discovery, and a new report from Variety suggests only one future movie is guaranteed as of now.

In a recent breakdown of what the future may hold for Warner Bros., Variety’s Adam B. Vary and Brent Lang note that as of now, only one DC movie has currently been greenlit following the merger of Warner Bros. and Discovery —film starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. However, just because only one film has been greenlit doesn’t mean more won’t.

The report goes on to mention that Matt Reeves, following his recent overall deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, is continuing to work on the sequel to the 2022 hit filmElsewhere for the company,spin-off centered around Colin Farrell’s the Penguin character is also still being developed, as is the second season of James Gunn’s
