These Texas companies have laid off over 4,800 workers so far this year

In Texas, companies file Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act notices with the Texas Workforce Commission. The 1988 law requires companies with 100 or more employees to provide 60 days notice of closings or mass layoffs.
