GM said the new division, called GM Energy, will help customers transfer electricity from an EV or battery-storage box to a home or building, as a way to protect against power outages and transfer electricity to the grid during off-peak times.

Batteries STORE energy, they don't produce it. Energy must be produced and then stored in them to provide energy. Every notice that hazmat label on any products w lithium batteries? Yeah, let's use of massive batteries.. and then bury them in the ground. Lunacy. SMFH
