Fresh produce market inquiry to focus on fruit, vegetables

The Competition Commission will start an inquiry into the fresh produce market next week to determine whether there are activities in the value chain that impede competition. The focus will be on five fruits and six vegetables, which include bananas, apples, pears, spinach, onions and cabbage. To discuss this further is Siyabulela Makunga from the Competition Commission.
