The community group organized the training in cake baking; soap making, decoration and Closed Circuit TV installation training with the aim of making the youths acquire knowledge and be useful to themselves and the society. The convener, Chairman, Akute West Area CDC, Elder Toyin Abraham Kaadiri stated that the skill acquisition and most recently that of the CCTV which began on Wednesday was in consonance of the need to prepare the youths for required skills in the present world of innovative job market.
“I and my executives of the Akute West Area CDC are elated for the successful kicking off of the CCTV installation training which is 2-day training for youths residing in our area. This is the second series of skills acquisition programmes that the CDC has undergone in three weeks. We thank God for making this day a reality.
‘’The participants that came to the venue shot beyond our target and this is because closed circuit television is relevant in our world today for surveillance, security and business management purposes.
