The closure of the home was announced last October

A former care home in West Bridgford which was closed following an 'inadequate' inspection has been put on the market for nearly £3million. Adbolton Hall announced it would close in October last year due to "struggling to employ suitable staff and increasing costs".

MPS Care Group, which ran the home, moved its 19 residents to another one of its homes in Bulwell. A Care Quality Commission report published the following month found the home in Adbolton Lane to be 'inadequate', claiming residents were "not treated with dignity". Inspectors described one instance where staff laughed at a resident when they were shouting for help while in pain. The 53-bedroom premises of the former care home is now listed for sale on Rightmove.Categorised as a commercial healthcare facility, the property is described as a "rare opportunity" which can make up to £328k a year. It includes 53 en suite bedrooms across two floors with tea stations as well as a driveway.
