A West Texas ranch hits the market, complete with a commercial vineyard

Another big West Texas ranch that’s up for grabs offers more than the usual rural spread.

The almost 1,000-acre Blue Mountain Ranch in the Davis Mountains includes a commercial vineyard. Dallas-based Icon Global is marketing the ranch eight miles southwest of Fort Davis and 23 miles fromThe mountainside ranch land has been used to grow grapes for winemaking since the 1970s. It’s in an area of West Texas where small wineries are making their mark.Along with the vineyards, the property includes areas for hunting and recreation and “abundant wildlife,” according to Icon Global.
