Begin teaching school children about investment, says PM

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim at the opening of the week-long financial literacy event Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia in Bertam, Penang, today.

He said that a discussion could be initiated with both education and higher education ministries on the idea of expanding the investment literacy awareness campaign into schools.“We train the teachers to be given the responsibility to provide additional awareness to school students or to provide them with early exposure to responsible investment,” he said at the opening of the financial literacy week, Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia, in Bertam.
