There have also been “impressive gains” in traffic to P.E.I., Hansen said, with bridge and air traffic now surpassing pre-pandemic levels by five per cent, making this year poised for a record-breaking one. Corryn Clemence, CEO of Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island, says looking ahead, one of the big focuses for the association is on collaborating with operators to develop new products and expand their operations to operate year-round, including in winter and early spring. - Thinh Nguyen/SaltWire
