Ukraine's state hydropower company has said a Russian strike hit Ukraine's largest dam, the DniproHES in Zaporizhzhia, but that there was no risk of a breach, while power infrastructure in other regions was also hit, officials said.
The attack was the largest strike on Ukraine's energy infrastructure of the entire war, a top energy official said earlier on Friday. She announced that leaders have endorsed the proposal of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, saying,"This will provide funding for military equipment to Ukraine."
