Seth Rogan launches cannabis company that sells pre-rolled joints

Weed has featured in many of his films, so the news thatThe Pineapple Express and Superbad actor, and his long-term collaborator Evan Goldberg, announced earlier today that they were diversifying their business with the launch of a company called Houseplant., Houseplant will supply the drug in the pair’s native Canada where cannabis was legalised by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in October 2018. It can now be bought online within Canada for recreational use.

‘Houseplant is the result of years of experience and dedication, with each element and expression thoughtfully designed to make it easier for people to learn to love cannabis as much as Houseplant does,’ Canopy Growth said in a statement this morning.Seth added: ‘Houseplant is a passion we’ve brought to life through drive and dedication. Every decision we’ve made for the business reflects the years of education, first-hand experience and respect we have for cannabis.

Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg are also said to be working with Canopy Growth on a range of products. The company’s first product will be ‘Houseplant Sativa’, which is set to launch in Canada next month. They will then add a number of other plants to their offering, along with gels and pre-rolled joints.
