The statement read in part, “The report went on to wrongly assert that the NMDPRA, in violation of established Corporate Affairs Commission guidelines, awarded a contract for the construction of 500 metric tonnes of a Liquified Petroleum Gas depot to a “… non-existent company called Novertek Energy Limited.”
Ene-Ita added that companies seeking licences must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission . During this phase, it is expected that Noretek would propose to engage various contractors to provide several specialised services that would support the process of constructing the depot, Ene-Ita stated.
