The Dublin Chamber – which represents more than 1,000 businesses in Dublin – made the plea after a young Welsh visitor had his face slashed in a brutal attack in the Smithfield area of the city

Business owners in Dublin have called for the newly-elected council to help make the capital safer – after yet another attack on a tourist.
