Judge to consider lowering bond of Brad Simpson's business partner

Val Cotter, 65, is asking a judge to lower his $1 million bond on charges related to the Suzanne Simpson disappearance.SAN ANTONIO - Nearly one month after Olmos Park realtor Suzanne Simpson was reported missing, the longtime business partner of Suzanne's husband is asking a judge to lower the bond amount that's keeping in jail.

Suzanne's husband Brad Simpson is also at the Bexar County Jail on similar charges with bonds set at a combined $3 million. Maurer argued Cotter is not a flight risk, not a danger to the community, has no criminal record and should instead have a bond closer to $75,000.
