MOST READ: SARS still struggling to recover millions from Moyane The South African Revenue Service says it is still struggling to recover millions of rand in legal costs from former commissioner Tom Moyane.

subsequently fired Moyane following the recommendation of Judge Robert Nugent in his report compiled after a commission of inquiry into SARS.

According to the report, immediate action was needed to forestall any further deterioration of the country’s tax administration system. In a letter to Moyane, Ramaphosa said the report painted a deeply concerning picture of the current state of SARS and the reckless mismanagement which characterised Moyane’s tenure at SARS.Click below for the interview with Kieswetter:

If this was a normal SA citizen, he/she would either be in jail already or all their possessions and property already attached and forfeited yo the state. SARS would noth have 'struggle'. What makes this corrupt man so special
