THE government has paid out RM40 million to 40,000 recipients of Bantuan Prihatin Nasional cash aid through Bank Simpanan Nasional branches nationwide between June 12 and 19, said Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Tengku Aziz. He said that as at June 19, a total of 10.19 million recipients had received the cash aid, bringing the total payouts of BPN to RM10.88 billion – an implementation level of 97%.
