JOHANNESBURG - The Foschini Group, now known as TFG, is planning to increase its investment at two of its clothing factories in the Western Cape.
This is part of the company's COVID-19 strategy to reduce its dependence on international suppliers like China. The owner of @Home and American Swiss plans on expanding the factory floor space and employing an additional 530 workers this year and 5 000 by 2025.Currently, 35 percent of TFG's clothes are produced locally.
