CEO of Fuels for Ireland, Kevin McPartland has hit out at the Government CostofLivingCrisis

The body representing petrol stations and fuel providers has written to the Taoiseach and hit out at the Government giving a “false impression” that fuel prices would drop.

“Such profiteering is completely unacceptable on fuel prices. It is a barbaric act of cruelty on a civil population.”Mr McPartland said the Government gave the public a false impression that fuel would drop from midnight on Wednesday. “It has given people a false impression that prices would reduce immediately, which was impossible as excise on those supplies had already been paid.”
