The drivers will be handing over a memorandum of demands at the Roads and Transport Department in Gauteng over alleged exploitation by E-hailing companies.

JMPD spokesperson, Xolani Fihla explains says they are expecting disruptions in the Johannesburg CBD.

“We are expecting disruptions in the Johannesburg CBD between now and three in the afternoon, especially on the Albertina Sisulu road and Commissioner Street . Officers are present to monitor any disturbances and to control and divert any traffic,” says Fihla.
