How can you tell if your organization is prepping for layoffs? Apart from the obvious signs, there are a number of subtle indicators.

If your company is publicly traded, you've got quarterly earnings reports and other financial disclosures to peruse. Yep, you can smell death. Always have your own move ready. Otherwise, they make the move. Also, there's nothing more liberating than telling your company somebody else is better especially when they are.
