Strategic Analysis Australia’s Michael Shoebridge says the “price” of the meeting between Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Chinese President Xi Jinping is “silence from our government” as Beijing “goes about its business”.

“That’s true whether it’s influence in South-East Asia or in the Solomons with Mr Sogavare as the big opportunity,” Mr Shoebridge told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
