Newly reinstated leader expected to outline his vision for the company in the first earnings call since his return
Bringing back a CEO is a strategy many companies have attempted over the years, some more successfully than others. WSJ looks at three so-called boomerang CEOs and how their companies did after their return. On the same day as his first conference call with Wall Street analysts since returning to the company and succeeding former Chief Executive Bob Chapek, Mr. Iger is also expected to present a plan to reorganize Disney’s corporate ranks and cut costs, which the company has been promising since last year.
Would love to see Disney return to what is was, and how Walt envisioned it to be. Leave all the wokeness out.
