Stock Market Today: Equity futures steady ahead of jobs report

Matthew Tuttle, the chief executive and chief investment officer of Tuttle Capital Management, puts out a daily email with his short-term thoughts. 'Days like this are really read and react. If the number and reaction are bullish then I would look at gold miners first and foremost.

You should also we watching TLT and utilities. Financials could also come roaring back off the mat, so like I said, I would be careful with shorts,' he says.
