Provincial Education spokesperson Muzi Mahlambi says, “We can confirm that we had suspended the Tongaat Secondary School educator who was alleged to have exchanged pornographic messages with a learner. We have since learnt that he further raped a child which is a matter that the police are dealing with. There is going to be an internal process again, as the Department of Education that we will put him through so that we can deal with him in a disciplinary.
