Currencycloud's CEO Mike Laven told Business Insider that the $80 million funding from strategic investors closed in December but was a lengthy and complex process. Investors in the latest round include Visa, the World Bank Group's International Finance Corporation, French bank BNP Paribas, the SBI Group and Thailand's Siam Commercial Bank.
