Dell Technologies Inc. is nearing a deal to sell its RSA cybersecurity business to a private-equity firm for more than $2 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.

Assuming talks don’t fall apart, Dell could announce a deal as soon as Tuesday to sell the business to STG Partners LLC, a technology-focused private-equity firm, the people said.
