RMS Titanic Inc., a company that has exclusive rights to salvage artifacts from the Titanic, wants to retrieve the radio used to call for help after the ship hit an iceberg, according to documents filed in a Virginia federal court.
A hearing to discuss this matter is scheduled for Thursday, according to court documents. The removal of the Marconi radio would require the company to remove a part of the historic ship's deckhouse to access the"silent room," an area with soundproof walls that housed the wireless radio. The ship, which was deemed unsinkable before its April 1912 voyage, and its contents are now protected under the R.M.S.
If this happened on dry land, we’d call them what they are: grave robbers
Radio There was no 'radio' on Titanic.
I will setup google ad words Keyword Research and ads campaign You can hire me at fiverr
It would be easier to just buy a new one at Best Buy.
Why?
Would it even be recognizable or accessible
Removing titanic I don’t think that’s a great idea that’s a lot of work
nice
Leave the grave site alone...morbid
I...I doubt it still works.
That may just work.
I have a wild idea.
Take as much stuff as you can before its gone forever. Every item that can be salvaged and displayed for people to see is a reminder of the tragic events and a rememberance of the lives lost.
natballet in recent Titanic news...
Bring everything up before it's Lost forever
The only place it has any meaning is exactly where it sits on the ocean floor. Titanic is a monument to human hubris and the reckless abuse of our technology. Bring anything up and it simply becomes junk.
Astor, Guggenheim, and Strauss. Three of the richest men in the US who were opposed to the Rothschilds taking over the Fed and the education system were killed when the Titanic sunk. MH370. Rothchild family given patent rights after all patent holders disappeared on jet. Get it
A refreshing break from the normal DNC propaganda, this is very interesting.
I’m sorry but that's the final resting place, basically a cemetery, for 1,000+ people & it should just be left alone. Feels like grave-robbing to me.
Put it in a bowl of rice
They should repair it maybe that’ll help
Except the relatives of those that perished want the items left there. They feel it's a gravesite and do not want it disturbed.
