Parliament extends condolences to ‘V-Mash’ s family

Parliament’s Arts and Culture Committee has extended condolences to the family and relatives ofMashego, who rose to stardom in the 90s with the hit show Jam Alley, died in her sleep at her home in Mamelodi in Pretoria, on Sunday evening.

Sports, Arts and Culture Committee Chairperson Beauty Dlulane says she is saddened by the passing of Mashego. Dlulane has described V-Mash as she was popularly known, as a person who defined television and entertainment with pure talent. She says V-Mash was so gifted that she could do things that a few could master on television. Fellow artists in the industry have also paid tribute to Mashego.
