As the UK starts to ignore warning signs of other potential illnesses for worry of catching coronavirus or putting strain on the NHS, Dr Hilary posted a video online urging those to seek help if they’re not well.In a self-filmed video, he said: ‘Hi, Doctor Hilary here. Just a quick message to say that general practice surgeries are still open for business as usual. So the front door might be physically closed but you can have a telephone conversation with them at any time.
‘You can also do online consultations, and if you do need to go, then they will have separate zones for anybody suspected of having COVID-19, and green areas which are safe because they’re cordoned off if you like from the other areas,’ the expert reassured.Dr Hilary pleaded with his followers to seek medical help if they need it, regardless of covid-19
‘Things like childhood immunisations must go ahead because those infections are still out there,’ the doctor said. ‘And nobody would want two possible infections together, if CV continues to be as prevalent as it is.Over the past week, Dr Hilary has appeared alongside Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid to discuss the latest developments in the Covid-19 vaccine, and news of the pandemic as it continues to spread across the world.
