Those are skills Iovine has said are essential to the future of the music business, but academy students have ventured into fields as diverse as health, fashion and carbon-offset technology. “What was inherent in Jimmy and Dre’s early vision,” says founding dean Erica Muhl, “was an education that would allow students to be able to look at problems differently.
