- British Finance Minister Rishi Sunak has authorised a bailout plan to rescue companies that are seen as strategically important, with the state expected to buy stakes in crucial businesses that are facing acute financial problems, the Financial Times newspaper reported Under the plan, which is named ‘Project Birch’, the finance minister has raised the UK Treasury’s capacity to handle bespoke bailouts of “viable companies which have exhausted all options”, including government loan schemes, the newspaper reported.
Has he found the money tree?
There are millions of us who are not entitled to a penny of help. Over the last few months this government has really shown it's true colours. They're will be riots if they carry on this path
rosedavidrose10 But to hell with the man in he street?
RishiSunak so long as the Gov doesn't bail out badly managed & over extended companies, which is more likely the case in some of these industries. It is easy to privatise profit and socialise loss! Why aren't the greedy bankers we bailed out putting in more effort?
Hmm... 'Strategically important companies'? You mean the the companies that Tory Ministers sit on the Boards of & have shares in?
Sometimes we have bite our lips, it's done for the future.
It'll take more than that to get Cummings and BorisJohnson off the front page RishiSunak. Very cynical attempt at trying to bury the front page.
Sunak is part of the 55 Tufton Street fascist cabal &, therefore, one of Cummings's set!
...project birch...does he really know what he is doing? ‘Birching’ is an act of formal punishment...
And it begins... Socialism for the rich, Capitalism for the rest
Telling you that boys a hybrid human/crow
All his pals of course.
Let me guess: Serco, Capita, Group4 Deloitte, Interserve, Virgin etc
