The House today passed a bill that would revive the $670 billion small business aid program that shut down just hours earlier, leaving only Trump’s signature to restart the flow of emergency funds

Just weeks ago, earlier legislation revamping the terms of the loans nearly stalled in the Senate after critics of the program resisted.

It has delivered more than half a trillion dollars in financial support to employers since it launched in early April, and the short extension now buys time for lawmakers seeking to keep it alive in a new form for the next several months. At a hearing Wednesday morning, Velázquez said that until lawmakers knew where the money was going, “We cannot blindly extend the program.”

Stimulus for those who are unemployed due to the shut downs. Many many people are not working and it’s not by choice. Renew the unemployment benefits immediately!

This is bad because it will help voters keep their jobs and businesses and voters deserve to be on their own with no help.

Stupid&Grift at it again. Picking winners for free taxpayer money while kicking losers in the head. Theft.

Ben Cardin came hours before a deadline for applying for the program, which was created in March and modified twice since. Why would a business, with a disrupted revenue stream, take on debt? To pay debt servicing costs, the revenue stream must be in tact and growing. Unemployment chuck Here comes the largest can kicking and stimulus injecting in history! As long as Trump and his coolaid drinkers don’t take the virus seriously, we will be adding $2T in debt every month. Have fun!
