For example, a foam board sign manufacturer that had pivoted to make mobile hospital beds turned to T3 Expo to cut and help assemble the pieces of equipment. Together, they made 3,000 beds for the state of Connecticut. T3 Expo has also designed and manufactured portable bed tents that enable healthcare workers to safely get close to a patient but stay shielded from infection exposure. Hospital systems on the US east and west coasts are now testing and using those tents.
“Companies were coming out with tracking maps and different applications that focused on the current status of COVID-19 diagnoses, hospitalizations, and mortality, but our bread and butter is helping understand vulnerability,” says Chief Product Officer John Showalter, MD.that identifies specific areas where the population is at greater risk of hospitalization and mortality due to COVID-19.
