The type of tech introduced by the PatientPing and Real Time partnership will be attractive to hospitals staring down financial trouble

PatientPing's platform can solve this to some degree, as it pulls in ADT data from hospitals in over states, giving physicians a better sense of a patient's journey prior to arriving at the ED or rehabilitation facility.

As hospitals try to recoup lost revenue amid the pandemic, tech that reduces hospital readmissions will become a more attractive investment for health systems. Real Time's platform offers a readmission risk assessment tool, which will likely help clinical teams intervene and adjust treatment plans before an adverse event occurs.

Providing these actionable insights should go a long way toward improving health outcomes and avoiding preventable readmissions: 27% of 30-day hospitalizations in the US are preventable,
