KatieCanales1 Poorly researched article containing factual incorrect info. Veena admits she helped draft AB5. There’s an interview with her talking about it. This is a baseless hit piece on independent contractors hurt by bad law.

This article is laughable and complete BS. The freelancers who have been actively fighting for our livelihoods since last year have never been funded by rideshare. We are from more than 300 categories of professions adversely affected by AB5.
