When companies outside the security industry invest time, money, and personnel in cybersecurity, that will also become a major competitive advantage, Gartner said. "Stop focusing on protecting technology," Bussa said, urging a new emphasis on protecting employees and customers with a new approach of "cybersafety" that goes beyond technology. "These things affect employees and customers."
