The National Australia Bank business confidence number, which hasn’t been out of negative territory since the coronavirus, is in positive territory.

It went from a reading of minus 3.8 to plus 4.7, a 17-month high.

“It’s higher than it was before the coronavirus,” Sky News contributor Peter Switzer said. “And I think that all goes well for the Aussie economy.” Consumer confidence has also risen by 3.2 per cent, an eight-month high.
