By Matt Grossman Close Matt Grossman Updated Nov. 17, 2020 7:11 am ET Home Depot Inc., a home-improvement retailer that has thrived as people spend more time isolated during the coronavirus pandemic, continued its momentum into the latest quarter and pledged to permanently increase compensation for its hourly workers.
The company’s performance in the quarter, which ended Nov. 1, bookends a robust summer season for the Atlanta-based retailer. In the first nine months of the fiscal year, revenue grew by more than 18% overall. Home Depot shares closed trading Monday near $280, up more than 28% since the start of the calendar year.

It only took Home Depot 4 yrs. They squirreled away a lot of that tax break money and when the cache reached capacity, throw those the hourly's a bone. Seriously, I have a grateful heart for those who will see an increase, they suffered long enough, but I don't have praise for HD
