The sculpture is by Australian artist Lisa Roet and is designed to raise questions about humanity's relationship with nature and our closest animal relative. The work commemorates the 60th anniversary of Jane Goodall's pioneering research into chimpanzee behaviour in Tanzania.Pelicans love a feed, which is why it has been famously said of the pelican that his beak can hold more than his belly can, even if we don't know how the hell he can.
