The PPAs mark a milestone in the group’s efforts to kick off its new solar venture. – Advancecon website pixAdvancecon Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Advancecon Solar Sdn Bhd yesterday signed a power purchase agreement with Prominent Image Sdn Bhd and two PPAs with Oon Corp Resources Sdn Bhd.
The final capacity of 342.32 kWp was established after conclusive detailed survey and design work were carried out. For the PPAs with Oon Corp, Advancecon Solar will design, construct, install, own, operate and maintain a solar photovoltaic energy generating system with a capacity of 651.64 kWp under the NEM scheme at Oon Corp’s two premises in Senawang Industrial Estate, Seremban.
The PPAs will be for a period of 21 years from the commercial operation date. The commercial operation is expected to be commenced in early of second quarter of 2021.
