The declaration of Juneteenth as a federal holiday is putting the pressure on more U.S. companies to give their employees the day off. Experts expect the number of companies offering to holiday to surge next year after employers have more time to react.

People were complaining about the cost of a new paid holiday. Have the holiday be only for black Americans. If you’re any part African American you get the day off w/ pay or time and a half if you work. Why should everybody get the payoff? Now THAT’S fair!

Just like the movie help it takes a white man to help the blackpeople. Why didn't BarackObama POTUS44 do this for his people? Think about it. Who is trying to buy votes for their party?

U.S. and his allies, who supported the Israeli occupation of Palestine, also conspired and should be blamed for all the atrocities.

mine gave us a 'floating holiday' that we can use anytime before the end of the year, kind of like an extra 8 hours of pto. we can choose when and how to use it.
